Redoubt stewards time and space for saints and sojourners to encounter Jesus Christ.

All believers should have an opportunity to flee the world, even if only for a short time, in order to focus single-mindedly on God. Such a flight empowers the Christian for their return to the world in faithful service. Simply put, Redoubt creates the necessary space for focused attention on God.

Sanctuary

Man's primary aim is to love and glorify God. This begins with regular rhythms of prayer. Redoubt creates time and space amidst the noise of the world for people to encounter God. We do this through wilderness retreats, local prayer and worship times and individual spiritual direction.

Man's other primary aim is to love one's neighbor. A sanctuary also provides a place of refuge. We provide hospitality and a healthy network for those traveling through Anchorage, especially brothers and sisters coming from the villages.

"Making Anchorage an anchorage"

Seminary

We are surrounded by an overabundance of content and novelty that exhausts the mind. Redoubt does not seek something new, but something ancient. Our desire is to navigate the depths of Scripture and study the lives of saints, aided by some of history's greatest minds.

Instead of creating new content, we engage in time tested resources and ancient rhythms. From here we simply facilitate dialogue.

Through study and conversation, our minds will be renewed and reflect more of the Father.

Missionary

Redoubt serves as an ecumenical hub for various missionaries, ministries and churches across Alaska. Our desire is to encourage and strengthen all brothers and sisters fulfilling the great commission in Alaska.

Our primary aim is to assist missionaries traveling through Anchorage and remove all potential logistical burdens.

Redoubt is ready to both send and receive. From a foundation of prayer and rest, missionaries can leave Anchorage with boldness.
